Single – Family House. Hellín. Albacete. 2003
Location: Cancarix. Hellín. Albacete. Spain
Year: 2003
Surface area: 150 m2
The location of the house is based on the choice of the highest platform with the best views and orientation.
The basic programme requested is that of a refuge divided into two areas:
Day area, consisting of a large living-dining room and kitchen integrated within the same space and a living area with bedrooms and bathroom.
Night area with bedrooms and bathroom
The whole has been developed on a single floor, seeking maximum integration into the large wooded mass of pine trees that surrounds the house.
Next to the living-dining room a large porch has been designed, from which to contemplate the spectacular views and the large pine forest that surrounds the building.
The covering of the porch, which extends to the rest of the day area of the house, gives the complex an undulating profile that singles out the lateral façades of the complex.
The exterior-interior relationship has been one of the compositional pillars of the project, bearing in mind passive bioclimatic aspects such as crossed ventilation, natural lighting, deciduous vegetation as a thermal cushion element, sanitary forging, shutters for solar protection, etc.
